This is a very prominent year as it marks 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak, founder of Sikhism. We as a community wanted to commemorate his teachings and philosophies that are the foundation of our Sikh faith. The teachings of Oneness – equality of all races, genders, and religions - has transcended time, and now, more than ever, we need to remind humanity of our “Oneness.”
Oneness will be an engaging event, where the life and teachings of Guru Nanak, and how they have transcended time, will be showcased. There will be guest speakers from all communities across the globe, interactive activities and performances, that will make this an event that truly brings people together in support of "Oneness."
